okay we lost no big deal,
we all should have learned something from that loss and more importantnly we should know we can play better than that and i think we all got just a little lax in our play, but i want you boys to all know something,

THIS IS WHAT ALOT OF YOU FOR YEARS HAVE BEEN YELLIN AT ME ABOUT. ANOTHER THING, IF YOU COMPLAIN, THEN BE READY TO FESS UP AND TAKE RESPONSIBLITY!
ALOT OF YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN'T TALK YOUR FUCKIN SHIT TO ME BECAUSE I WILL FREAK OUT ON YA BUT IF YOUR GONNA BITCH IT'S GOING TO HURT THE WHOLE TEAM AND PEOPLE DO TAKE THAT PERSONALLY! ESPECIALLY ME!
Now boys lets go out there have some fun not worry about the nonsense crap and just play, and if any of you are hatin on andy then your fucked because he is a better goalie than any of us has had for awhile! and brandon and i can both attest for the fact that even in b1, b2 and c1 andy is a top goalie and the dude is sayin he is rusty? holy shit, put shots on him whatever he wants!!! it is going to make him better and the team better! you guys complaining about andy needs to stop, and not just around me! around everyone, if you don't have anything nice to say then bite your lip, put in a mouthguard, go to the bathroom and splash some h2o on ya face to kewl down! whatever it takes just relax and be thankful for what God has blessed us all with and what a caring group of guys have put together for you!
yes i know losing sux but we aren't losing we are above 500 and we will probably be 1,2,3 seed team! that is a great thing for a first year team!
just be the best you can be in all aspects of life and your game and it will all be alright!

Topic: Game Night
okay guys, here we go again, it is game day! drink a lot of water and keep relaxed, because tonight we play a team that is 2-2-1 and will be hungry to win. that team is the celina sharks. I think we can beat 'em and we will all have to show up and be prepared. so lets do just that, we all played great last week and lets keep that up. i can't wait to get our jerseys, which should be here in a while. so guys lets get a w tonight. the game is at 8pm and lets all play our bests!

That is right boys they fear us, they think they can beat us! We are own worst enemy so lets not do that!hahaha But after last week we don't have to worry about that! i for one, appreciatte the hard effort all you boys put out to come from behind and win!
That is what i am talkin about! And if anyone of you guys want a different goalie than get a different team because we gots ourselves a goalie boys a real big mean one that loves smurfs and care bears....hung from a nuce in his closet! yeah he is a little mean but if you say shit like hey Andy or big mean mutha, great game or don't worry about that goal we'll make it up he will love you long time!
so they lesson of todays story is...don't piss of the guy who is 6'5 and can eat a small oxen!
and the other thing is, we are all stayin in c2 unless the majority of you guys vote to move up, but we are going to add St.Pierre and Chaulk to our roster next session that is being sorted out in a couple of weeks. and unless i am wrong, hahaha, i am not god of the hockey team and i am not head talent scout! i am coach captain and friend to all ya so if you need anything or you have a suggestion or a problem come see me or westy or andy or alex. we will work it out!
so all is peaceful and calm in the big top! so no worries and lets get ur dun boys

6-14-04 Wooooooooooooooooooo!
well boys that was some great hockey, way to rebound after last weeks craziness. i am glad that all you guys rallied around andy and that we kept or composure when we were down and came from behind to win big. i don't even remember what the final score was but i knew it was a win and that we all played great.
ya know what the scary thing is? we can't be beat by any team in this league when we are on fire! damn that is a great feeling! i can't wait fo the playoffs because we are gonna be hungry for a cup and i know we are gonna do well.
hey if i haven't said it yet i am proud of you guys and i am even more proud of andy and westy because we got this whole situation down and there is no problems anymore and all is forgiven, just don't let happen again or i will eat my cheerios from your guys skulls! hahahaha just kiddin. but really guys we as a team whether ya know it or not, went through a lot of bullshit last week and we stil came out playin team hockey!
we are a great group of guys with good heads on our shoulders, so lets keep it that way!
keep up the good work, great job, andy you did an amazing job in net, way to show all your critics and boys lets keep this gravy train with biscuit wheels a rollin!

Sooooo, ya boys ready? 6-9-04
well here we go again,
it is mid week and i hope you guys are gettin the itch for hockey this weekend! well boys i think that we should really show em whats up. just really shock em. i am sick and fuckin tired of hearin bout the falcons, i just want to let you all know, that if oyu came to the team practice then you know we played them, and we hung with them, and we only had half the team!
so that means they are half the team we are, lets show em that! we are unstopable if we put our egos, attitudes, and petty bullshit behind us. lets have some fun!
I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT ANY OF YOU ARE PLANNING ON LEAVING AFTER FIRST SESSION!!!! DO NOT ABANDON THE TEAM AND YOUR TEAMMATES! YOU PEOPLE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
okay i also heard about some grumblin from people about the 1st line always playin. that is how i run things, i also like to mix it up to. if you have a problem with me, my lines, or you think you can do it better, then give me a holla, and/or let phil or westy know about it.
what you guys need to understand is that we are all equal here and no one is left out, if you feel that way talk to me, i am not a asshole i will help you out. i want this team to work together and be one big family of sorts, that wont happen unless all of you are willing.
i am still expcting to see a group of guys who understand we are now humbled by a shitty loss. that means we have to be determined to work that much harder! so guys i want you to take this shit fairly serious, i want you guys to work out and stay in shape, if not for hockey then do it for the ladies!hahaha
seriously read andys post about stayin in shape, it is funny and enlightening, i think some of you might even touch yourself to the column!

6-8-04 The Calm Before the Storm
okay boys,
i know alot of ya didn't want Tampa to win the Cup but i did! one reason, they are the most like us. they have a group of guys that are really good, but the only people that knew that was them. they have consistantly been the worst team in hockey for the last 10 years and they never lost the faith. they believed in themselves and fought with everyhthing in there soul to prove to the hockey world they were no fluke.
i can look at tampa and draw alot of similarities to us, but none is bigger than when they were down 3-2. they were beaten, bloody, fatigued, and they were on the road. however they kept it together and pulled out a miracle. they still believed. then they came home and shocked the world by giving stanley a tan. boys we have lost a game....1 single game! and i still believe in each and everyone of you! you guys are the best group of players i have ever played with. also i want you guys to know that we are all here together diggin in the corner takin that penalty and enduring all things. we are smart hockey players, the only thing we have to worry about is self-destructing!
there is a point in a persons life when they feel comfortable and they can relax in the fact that they have done sufficient amounts of activity,.....well that person obviously never played hockey!
boys we can win this cup, we can be champions we can do it, but we need to bond.
also this seasons captians and assistants have been decided. Alex Babich will be an Assistant along with Brandon West and i Tony Headrick will be captain/coach and Phil harber will be assistant coach.
so all i ask of you guys is to go out there together and win together, play together, fight together, and go through all things together. i feel losing is our problem, no other team can beat us when we are at our best, so lets play our best hockey. no more stinkin double headers, so we can give it our all.
lets get ur dun!

ps. boys you may have noticed that we have a "in loving memory of john o'grady"header on the home page. he is my uncle who will not make it through the week due to cancer finally getting the best of him. he has lung cancer and liver cancer. so to all you guys who smoke and drink think about that! so if you had a question i hope that answers it otherwise, you can ask me. thanks

The Day After Yesterday 6-7-04
well guys,
if ya read the post yesterday your probably either pissed or confused, so let me add a little clarity to the situation. we are a team a good team, but not the best! we are a bunch of guys who have no real destiny in hockey in a professional sense. we are all here becuase we love to play and we have fun with the game. so that being said we should also, (by now) know that hockey is a team sport and that every successful team has determined there spot in hockey history by how much they bonded and played like a team. so what i challenge everyone and myself to do is, make sure every second you are playing or in the Plex, that you are thinking,"are my current actions hurting the team?" that will probably determine how the outcome of our games will be. i am not saying that if you think this we will magically win but, i am saying we will always win something, if anything respect from our competitors. yes i was very angry with the behavior of a few people yesterday but, we all as a team need to make sure this situation was a one time thing. so as before, i expect great changes in attitudes and comradery before our next game.
nobody on this team is any better than what there skills determine them to be! and our skills earned us a loss in C2 so we all are equal, lets play equal . i do not want to talk down to you guys like i am your father but if attitudes don't change especially from some of my guys who have been playin forever, than i am sorry but i will speak my mind and this season will not be any fun!
so it is up to you guys and myself, but i will not leave andy out to dry like that and i sure the hell am never going to let anyone on my team who doesn't share the common goal of winning and having fun with us. if you are not going to try than get the hell of the bench and watch the game. a fan is a fan and a player is a player but there is a fine defined line that seperates the two so you people who aren't trying either try harder or we might need to figure out what the problem is!

Klowns Split Double Header of Doom 6-6-04
Well here it is boys, we won the first game 7-5 and lost the second 10-0. yeah i am sure if you aren't familiar with the plex the are fuckin morons and make us play two back-to-back hockey games. so needless to say we were spent however, that is no excuse! we lost because we have forgotten what team hockey is about! i never want to hear that we have players doing things diliberately for themselves, that hurt the team in general. i am first the coach and captian second your guys friend. i am very dissapointed in some of the guys on the team for not helpin our goalie out who alomst had a heat stroke! that is the most horrible thing i have ever heard! from now on if you are hurting the team the not so nice captian/coach tony will let you know about it and if you don't like then change or don;t let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya!
so boys we all take responsibility for this loss, but it shoudn't have ended the way it did!
next week i expect better, especially from my guys who played high school and know the importance of team hockey.

6-4-04 klowns prepare
well today is friday and all the klowns are eagerly awaiting the double-header hockey game we have on sunday at 2pm and 3pm. i hope that we can win both games, i think we can we just need to play smart and everything will turn out in our favor. the fuckin flames won again last night makin the series 3-2 for the flames, i hope that tampa pulls out a miracle!
well boys if your readin this then get ready start warmin up becasue your going to need every bit of conditioning you can get for sunday.
well we'll let ya know how the games fair, and we hope we win
